Soul Fingers is a daily sketching community I initiated during my artist residency in Finland in 2025. Each day, I proposed a simple creative prompt and invited fellow artists to contribute quick, spontaneous drawings. The aim was to cultivate a playful space for creativity, spark casual interactions, and rediscover the joy of making art without pressure.

WHY
One person steps into the center, starts moving or striking poses — any kind of motion, from subtle gestures to wild swings. The rest of us have less than a minute to capture the moment on paper.
Then we switch. Next person steps up. New movement. New drawings.
The room filled with laughter, rustling paper, and lots of half-finished limbs and flying lines. It was less about accuracy, more about rhythm — watching, responding, letting your hand catch what your eye barely had time to register.
Soul Fingers became a space where sketching felt alive. No overthinking, no correcting. Just fast lines, fast glances, and shared energy.
Here are some of my sketches from those sessions. They remind me that sometimes, making art is about staying loose — in your hand, in your mind, in your body.

Thanks
Each drawing in Soul Fingers is a small time capsule. A glimpse of a person, a feeling, a shared breath.
These pages now hold traces of moments that can never be repeated but will always be remembered.
I sincerely thank everyone who joined this ritual with open hearts and moving hands.
Every time I revisit these sketches, I feel your presence again.
